I love The 4400, Heroes and CSI. Even Miami, I love Horatio. He is so unbelievably corny, and I always get a kick out of it. Because I am a dork and I am easily amused.

Never got into Lost, I think because it took Alias’ spot, and I was an Alias fanatic. It pissed me off. “People get lost, on an island? Is Gilligan there?” It didn’t appeal to me… lol

Living Single, I used to watch that. I liked Kadeejah, and I doubt I spelled her character’s name right. Maxine and Kyle (that’s his name right?) they were too funny.

I liked the re-runs of the Grey’s Anatomy season that I managed to watch. It was during the writer’s strike. I can’t get into it now, mainly because Supernatural comes on at the same time. And I am bordering on fanatic when it comes to that show. I must admit that it is because of the cute/sexy male actors more than it is because of the storyline.

The humor is nice though.

lol - moi ça m’a complètement pris par surprise. Une seconde je regarde le petit chien (« oh le mignon petit chien » je me dis), et la seconde d’après je lis la phrase et j’éclate de rire !
Je crois que je m’attendais plus à un truc du genre : « stay loyal and faithful »… « Be consistent in your passions »… Un truc hyper positif même si peut-être un peu cul-cul – comme dirait ma grand-mère … ou « corny » ! Et là, ce n’était vraiment pas cul-cul…

Lol. I don’t know know why I like the Babe thing. I’d hate if a guy used it on me (unless I knew him well enough), but I like using it with chica friends!
I don’t know if my English is that good! I sometimes re-read my posts and hate some sentence structures, or see typos… I chose to ignore them and come back later… maybe! (denial)

I agree with you. I can relate to the “please, leave me alone. I know what I’m doing right now”. The freaky thing is that often, it’s people who do care, and who do want to help… That makes it hard to figure out how to communicate that you don’t want their help in that sense without them getting vexed, feeling crossed or something.

It’s very funny to see how your questions meet my thoughts right now. I was wondering if I was dreaming too much as other people may think when they look at me. Well as you said, I don’t care.
Some of us cannot cope with the “supposed-to-be-normal” life.
My best friends did not understand some of my professionnal choices.
I just want to say sometimes “please, leave me alone. I know what I’m doing right now”.

Thank you Lova. I’ve been telling myself I must be boring everyone… lol Sometimes I think I sound like a teenager going through a… teen-crisis or something. And I figure I’d do others a favor if I didn’t voice these thoughts aloud. But hey, I guess they need to come out. And this blog is the easiest outlet for that…

You know babe (I know, I get familiar! lol) maybe right now you need that comfort of those you love and care about (and that care about you) around you. I’m sure you’ll leave - when you’re ready!

And of course, I do expect an email before you get here so that I can make sure I can kidnap (figure of speech) you and take you to my favorite hangouts, finding some Jazz to listen to… Etc. I forwarded your Rachel article to her manager by the way!

You know, I think the issue is we compare. Maybe in comparison to you, I haven’t lived some of those associated experiences (whether leaving your country and moving on your own, doing certain things solo, and millions of other things that have made you stronger and wiser). I know you’re a wonderful (and rich in the non-tangible sense) person because you are kind and open minded. Not everyone is!

I mean, things must have been tough for you. But you seem to have overcome them and you’re so rich now in term of experiences. Now you have a sense of wiseness (don’t know if this word exists…scuze my so bad english) that most of us will get only when we get 60 years old, if ever we get it…

Waw. I think you are the only person who writes very long English posts that I can read without yawning.
I am really impressed by all the things you’ve done and your feelings about it.
Next time I fly to Madagascar, I’d be very happy if we could meet (and attend some jazz concerts, you promised it, you remember ? )
Eventhough my life is very boring comparing to yours, I can pretty imagine we have a lot in common.
For the moment, I am still stuck in Paris for a few weeks left. I am too afraid of moving and leaving friends, my own personal comfort, and some meaningless things. I wish I had your life experience, really. It would have helped me right now…
